Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate import and export logistics activities, including shipment tracking, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and delivery arrangements.
Liaise with freight forwarders, customs clearing agents, transport companies, warehouses, ports, and other logistics service providers.
Prepare, review, and coordinate customs clearance and shipping documentation to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Monitor shipment progress, customs clearance, port releases, transport scheduling, and final deliveries.
Communicate regularly with China HQ and internal teams regarding shipment updates, delays, risks, and documentation requirements.
Coordinate local transportation for machinery, equipment, spare parts, and related products.
Assist with logistics cost comparisons, supplier evaluations, and logistics service provider management.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, delivery notes, customs documentation, and logistics files.
Identify potential logistics risks, delays, or operational issues and escalate them appropriately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within local logistics and supply chain operations.
