Duties:
Build and maintain detailed target account plans for ERM sectors.
Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and territory planning.
Identify emerging opportunities across mining, energy, oil & gas, renewables, marine, shipping, engineering, and offshore sectors.
Develop executive-level relationships within target organisations.
Engage with potential clients to understand project-based and operational travel requirements, workforce rotation, and industry-specific compliance needs.
Design and present comprehensive travel programmes tailored to ERM customers.
Lead networking, cold calling, social selling efforts to generate new business leads.
Ensure all new business is secured profitably.
Lead evaluations for bids, tenders, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
Negotiate with decision-makers at all levels.
Motivate and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with account management and deployment teams for seamless client onboarding.
Leverage sector networks to accelerate revenue growth.
Attend industry conferences and events to promote the company’s services.
Develop strategic sector partnerships and engage with industry associations.
Promote traveller risk management and emergency travel solutions.
Support compliance, duty of care, and traveller safety initiatives.
Contribute market insights and intelligence.
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines, and forecasts.
Prepare performance, revenue, and pipeline reports.
Contribute to pricing, budgeting, and margin analysis.
Ensure timely scheduling and delivery of client implementations.
Manage relationships within the Global partner network.
Provide accurate financial estimates for client projects.
Drive profitable and sustainable business solutions.
Requirements:
5 to 8 years of experience in business development within engineering, logistics, mining, oil & gas sectors.
Proven ability to develop and execute sector-specific strategies.
Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
Demonstrated success in networking, sales, and strategic planning.
Expertise in client relationship management.
Ability to work on-site in Gauteng.
