The Senior SAP ABAP K4–K5 Consultant (with SAP CRM expertise) will support NHBRC in maintaining, enhancing, and expanding its SAP application landscape, with a specific emphasis on CRM‑driven business processes. This role is critical in addressing existing technical capability gaps, stabilizing integration and application layers, and building long‑term in‑house SAP development capacity through structured knowledge transfer.

The consultant will design, develop, and optimize complex SAP solutions across CRM, ECC/S4, and integration environments using best‑practice ABAP development methodologies.

2. Key Responsibilities

2.1 SAP CRM Development

• Analyse, design, enhance, and implement solutions within SAP CRM, including:
  
  • CRM One‑Order framework
    
  • BOL/GENIL enhancements
    
  • CRM WebUI component enhancements, view/controller logic, and UI configuration
    
  • CRM Middleware (BDoc processing, queues, replication issues)
    
  • CRM Service Processes, Case Management, Interaction Center behaviors
    

2.2 ABAP Development

• Deliver full lifecycle ABAP OO development including design, coding, testing, and optimization.
  
• Develop and support complex enhancements:
  
  • User exits, BAdIs, implicit/explicit enhancements
    
  • ALV reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms
    
  • Conversion routines, BAPIs, BADIs, Function Modules
    
• Refactor, optimize and tune existing custom code using SAT/ST05/SQLM tools.
  

2.3 Integration Development

• Design and develop technical integrations across SAP ECC/S4 and CRM, including:
  
  • IDocs (custom segments, enhancements, distribution models)
    
  • RFC/BAPI integrations
    
  • OData / SAP Gateway service enablement
    
  • API‑based integrations with external platforms
    
• Support PI/PO/CPI‑based integrations where applicable.
  

2.4 Support & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot complex issues across CRM and ECC/S4 components.
  
• Resolve incidents, defects, and change requests within agreed SLAs.
  
• Support production stabilization activities, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

2.5 Documentation & Standards

• Produce high‑quality technical specifications, design documents, interface documentation, and transport logs.
  
• Ensure all developments comply with:
  
  • SAP development standards
    
  • ATC and Code Inspector quality requirements
    
  • NHBRC coding, security, and transport governance
    

2.6 Knowledge Transfer & Capacity Building

• Deliver structured, measurable knowledge‑transfer sessions to NHBRC’s internal SAP team.
  
• Conduct walkthroughs, code reviews, pair‑programming sessions, and instructional documentation.
  
• Ensure NHBRC internal resources are empowered to independently support CRM and ABAP development by the end of engagement.

3.1 Mandatory Requirements

• 5–10+ years SAP ABAP development experience.
  
• K4–K5 proficiency level in ABAP and CRM development.
  
• Extensive hands‑on expertise in:
  
  • ABAP OO
    
  • CRM One‑Order, BOL/GENIL
    
  • CRM WebUI enhancements
    
  • CRM Middleware (BDoc)
    
  • SAP Forms (ALV, SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
    
  • IDoc/RFC/OData interface development
    
• Strong understanding of enterprise SAP architecture (CRM + ECC/S4 + integration layers).
  
• Ability to work onsite full‑time at NHBRC.
