Duties:

• Contribute as a key member of the Executive Management Team, shaping organisational strategy.
• Develop and implement the organisation's financial strategy.
• Provide strategic leadership in financial planning, budgeting, treasury, accounting, revenue management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and governance requirements.
• Oversee preparation and submission of financial statements, management reports, and statutory returns.
• Establish and maintain effective financial governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Manage operational and capital budgets to maximise resource utilisation.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and debtor management to ensure organisational financial health.
• Administer grant funding and compliance obligations.
• Oversee facilities management and infrastructure-related financial oversight.
• Manage relationships with auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Lead organisational financial transformation, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a high-performance culture through leadership, talent development, accountability, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
• Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (NQF Level 8).
• Minimum of 15 years' experience within a financial management environment.
• At least 10 years' senior management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience serving as a Chief Financial Officer.
• Proven expertise in Financial Reporting, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, and Team Leadership.
• Strong analytical skills.
