A leader in the mineral and mining processing equipment is seeking an Afrikaans speaking Spares Sales Department Manager to join their Krugersdorp team, reporting directly to the MD. Client is seeking candidates with Krugersdorp or 15 - 20 min radius.

Matric
10+ years in the mining or mineral processing industry, dealing with processing equipment.
Very familiar with equipment such as vibrating screens, crushers, feeders, etc.
Hands-on experience with spare parts management, supply chain, or after-market service.
Great track record as reference checks will be conducted upfront
Skills:
Technical understanding of screening equipment and components.
Experience in inventory management, vendor relations, and logistics.
Strong leadership, team development, and customer-facing skills.
Outstanding computer skills – master of Excel, report generation, database management.
Key performance areas:
Leadership & Departmental Management
Lead and manage a cross-functional team (6 direct reports) across sourcing, warehousing, sales, and support operations.
Provide regional support to a team of 5 Sales Engineers deployed across various territories.
Collaborate closely with the 7-member Sales Engineering Department to ensure seamless integration of client modifications and design improvements.
Customer-Focused Support
Oversee the costing, quoting, and processing of:
Spare parts requests
Drive and equipment refurbishment requirements
Field services and repair support
Expedite sales orders while ensuring timely collection and delivery logistics.
Develop and implement rapid deployment strategies to minimize client downtime.
Field Services Oversight
Coordinate and manage Field Services operations, including:
Personnel planning and training
Tooling and vehicle provisioning
Ensuring safety compliance across individual job sites
Managing off-site service logistics
Process Improvement & Systems Management
Maintain and enhance part numbering systems for operational efficiency.
Identify and implement process improvements aligned with business needs and market changes.
Strategic Planning & Sales Support
Support Sales with life cycle costing and maintenance budget projections for equipment.
Negotiate, implement, and manage long-term Customer Supply Agreements to ensure service continuity and cost effectiveness.
