Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building high-quality software solutions and possess a strong mathematical foundation. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications, contributing to the development of their ERP and other software products.Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications according to project requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional Java development experience (excluding internships).
- Proven experience in Java development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A strong background in pure mathematics, with a matric (high school) pass mark of 70% or higher. (Candidates achieving this percentage are exempt from a competency math assessment)
- Interest in creating high quality JAVA code.
- Reliable home internet connection and suitable home office setup.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with Web or Mobile application development.
