Job Summary
We are seeking a capable, discreet and self-sufficient couple (or highly compatible duo) to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of two private residences based in the Hoedspruit area. This is not a traditional management couple role, but rather an opportunity for two individuals to operate with autonomy, taking ownership of a well-run, private environment with professionalism. The successful couple will form a small, trusted team responsible for ensuring both properties run seamlessly. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are naturally organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a private setting. A background in high-end hospitality, lodges, villas, or similar environments will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities The scope of the role is broad and requires a hands-on, all-round approach, including: Full day-to-day management of both properties Housekeeping; cleaning, and general upkeep Preparing the homes for arrivals and managing departures Laundry and linen management Grocery shopping and stock control Preparing simple, high-quality meals when required Managing guest logistics and daily household organisation Vehicle care, servicing, and readiness Coordinating external service providers where necessary This role is suited to individuals who can take ownership of the full operational environment and ensure everything runs efficiently without supervision. Working Structure The working style is designed to be discreet and non-intrusive: Morning presence for setup (breakfast and daily preparation) Time away from the property during the day to ensure guest privacy Return as required for lunch, dinner, or specific requests The remainder of the time will be dedicated to overseeing operations and maintaining the properties. Candidate Profile Couple or well-functioning duo with complementary skills Professional; well-presented, and service-oriented Highly reliable, discreet, and trustworthy Strong ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable managing a private household environment Previous experience in lodges, private homes, villas, or similar Package Accommodation provided (on-site or nearby, depending on profile) Salary: R12,000 – R15,000 per person (dependent on experience) Performance-based incentives to be discussed Long-term; stable opportunity within a comfortable environment
