Job Summary
TRAINEE / RETAIL MANAGERS (Wholesale & Retail Trade) - We are looking for someone who is passionate about retail, enjoys working with people and has the ambition to grow into a management position. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, commercially minded and willing to take responsibility for the successful running of a retail outlet.
Positions available in:
Queenstown
· Fort Beaufort
Working Hours – Retail hours apply - Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Salary – Market related (depending on experience)
Undertakings – Polygraph Testing/Clear criminal record
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
1–3 years' retail or wholesale experience
· Experience supervising a small team, even informally.
· Exposure to stocktaking, cash-ups and ordering.
· A strong interest in progressing into store management.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good numerical and administrative abilities.
Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Good understanding of stock control and cash handling.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Strong leadership potential with the ability to motivate a team.
Excellent customer service and people skills.
Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
Target-driven with a strong sales focus.
Proactive, hands-on and willing to learn.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
