Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is currently looking for an Admin Operations Manager for a growing boutique hotel group based in the Western Cape. This is a newly created role designed for someone who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and getting things done. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership across multiple properties, supporting both operational and HR functions while helping to streamline systems, elevate guest experiences, and drive consistency across the group. We are looking for someone with the confidence, initiative, and professionalism, eager to grow within a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment. The position involves weekly travel between Cape Town and Winelands properties and offices, as well as monthly travel to the Eastern Cape. Key Responsibilities Visit properties regularly to collect, check, and follow up on operational and HR documentation Ensure consistency and accuracy across HR paperwork, supplier documents, stock sheets, payment records, and operational admin Follow up professionally with General Managers on outstanding operational tasks and deadlines Assist in maintaining high guest experience standards across all properties Ensure concierge communication remains professional, consistent, and aligned across the group Support the planning and implementation of special guest touches, holiday experiences, and operational initiatives Research and assist with updating tours, activities, and pricing structures Assist with implementing AI systems, workflows, and operational processes to support company growth Work closely with senior management on a wide range of ad hoc operational and administrative projects Requirements Previous experience within hospitality operations, administration, HR, or guest services Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail High level of initiative with a proactive, solution-driven mindset Confident communicator, able to follow up firmly yet professionally with senior staff Technologically competent and excited by AI, systems, and operational efficiencies Passion for hospitality and guest experience Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport essential Willingness and enthusiasm for frequent travel between properties Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone energetic, ambitious, and eager to prove themselves within a growing boutique hospitality group.
