Role Purpose

This role exists to help Ello Technology grow by creating qualified new opportunities, building trusted commercial relationships, and converting those opportunities into long-term monthly recurring revenue.
You will do this through proactive outreach, strategic networking, high-quality discovery conversations, commercially sound solution guidance, and confident closing across both self-generated and marketing-generated opportunities.
This is a role for someone who knows how to open doors, build credibility quickly, guide decision-makers with confidence, and turn trust into commercial results. Your success will be measured by the recurring revenue you close, the quality of pipeline you build, and the professionalism with which you represent the Ello Technology brand in the market.
Your First 90 Days
What Success Looks Like
By Day 90, you should have built a strong and credible foundation for consistent commercial performance in the role.
That means:
- You have established a repeatable outbound rhythm with disciplined prospecting, quality meetings, and structured follow-up
- You are responding consistently and professionally to inbound leads generated through marketing and captured in the CRM
- You are building a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities and beginning to close deals consistently each month
- You are leading discovery conversations with confidence and commercial maturity
- Your Zoho CRM is clean, current, and reliable enough to support accurate weekly forecasting and informed decision-making
We are looking for someone who can create momentum early, build trust quickly, and bring consistency to the role without needing constant supervision.

How Performance Is Measured
This role carries clear commercial responsibility, with annual recurring revenue expectations to be discussed as part of the overall package and performance structure.
To support this, we track a disciplined weekly rhythm across prospecting, commercial conversations, meetings, proposals, follow-up, pipeline quality, and recurring revenue closed.
These measures are there to create clarity, consistency, and commercial momentum. As real conversion data becomes available, activity expectations may be refined to reflect what drives the strongest results.
Key Responsibilities
1) Prospecting, Inbound Follow-Up, and Pipeline Creation
You will be expected to create and progress new business opportunities every week through a combination of disciplined outbound activity and consistent follow-up on inbound leads generated by marketing.
This includes:
- Cold calling into ideal prospect lists during structured call blocks
- Using LinkedIn strategically to start conversations and build commercial relationships
- Running clear, relevant, and well-positioned email outreach designed to open doors
- Responding to and following up on inbound leads generated through marketing and captured in Zoho CRM
- Managing both self-generated and inbound opportunities with urgency, professionalism, and strong commercial judgement
2) Networking and Relationship Development
This role is not only about direct outreach. It also includes building a strong referral and partnership engine that supports long-term growth.
This includes:
- Participating in relevant industry events, business networks, and relationship-building opportunities
- Creating referral introductions through partners, clients, and strategic relationships
- Building and maintaining a live partner and referral pipeline in Zoho CRM
- Representing Ello Technology in a credible, confident, and commercially mature way in the market
3) Discovery, Qualification, and Commercial Closing
You will lead sales conversations with confidence, structure, and a strong consultative approach.
This includes:
- Running discovery calls that uncover pain points, business impact, urgency, decision-making process, and commercial reality
- Qualifying opportunities properly so time is invested where there is genuine potential
- Presenting solutions clearly and guiding the next step with confidence and professionalism
- Handling objections using logic, proof, business value, and commercial maturity rather than discounting
- Leading opportunities through to close with clarity, momentum, and strong follow-through
4) CRM Discipline and Pipeline Accuracy
A senior consultant is not only strong in conversation, but also sharp in execution and forecasting discipline.
This includes:
- Logging all calls, meetings, notes, and next actions on the same day
- Keeping Zoho CRM stages accurate, current, and commercially useful
- Maintaining a pipeline that can be reviewed and forecasted without guesswork
- Taking part in weekly pipeline reviews with the Sales BU Lead to review progress, blockers, priorities, and next steps
5) Follow-Up and Deal Progression
This is a role for someone who understands that many good opportunities are won through disciplined follow-up and intelligent deal progression.
This includes:
- Executing a structured multi-touch follow-up process after every meeting and proposal
- Maintaining professional momentum with prospects across the full sales cycle
- Creating urgency in an ethical and commercially sound way through deadlines, limited capacity, and implementation availability
- Keeping opportunities moving forward with consistency, confidence, and strong attention to detail
