? Property Financial Manager | Luxury Boutique Hotel | Cape Town ? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a commercially astute and detail-oriented Property Financial Manager for a luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town, Western Cape. This hands-on finance role is responsible for overseeing all property-level financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and robust reporting while supporting operational and strategic decision-making ?✨. ? Key Responsibilities ? Financial Operations & Controls Oversee all property-level finance functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring correct budget allocation Manage cash flow, including petty cash and credit card reconciliations Validate daily revenue submissions and ensure timely financial reporting Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and operating equipment registers Oversee inventory controls, variance checks, and final system sign-offs ? Budgeting, Reporting & Analysis Drive and manage the annual budgeting process at property level Prepare and analyse management accounts with variance reporting Produce flash and projection reports to support operational and strategic decision-making Support pricing of extras and ancillary services in collaboration with operations ?️ Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to company standards Assist with annual external audits and preparation of supporting documentation ? Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Act as the finance liaison between the property and support office teams Work with HR on gratuities, staff deductions, and payroll-related finance matters Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams when required ✅ Minimum Requirements (Essential) ? Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field ? Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, with at least 2 years in hospitality ? Strong MS Office skills; experience with accounting systems (Sage advantageous) ? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills ⚡ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment ?️ Clear and confident communicator, able to explain financial data to non-financial teams ? Advantageous ? Experience in boutique or luxury hospitality environments ? Experience working across both hotel and food & beverage operations ?
