Role Overview: Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a meticulous and systems-driven Inventory Controller for a prestigious 5-star boutique hotel in Cape Town. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced hospitality inventory professional with a strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail. The successful candidate will oversee inventory control across multiple departments, ensuring accurate stock management, compliance, and operational efficiency throughout the property. ? Requirements: • 2–4 years' experience in hospitality inventory or stock control within a luxury hotel • Previous luxury hospitality experience essential • Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or similar advantageous • Experience with MyStock, MyInventory, Sage Inventory, or similar systems • Knowledge of POS systems such as TallOrder or similar • Strong understanding of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Spa, and Retail operations • Excellent analytical, numerical, and organisational skills • Ability to supervise store and administration functions • Candidates currently based in Cape Town will receive preference ? Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily stock movements across all operational departments • Maintain accurate inventory records and system integrity • Verify purchase orders, GRNs, transfers, wastage, and stock issues • Reconcile inventory against POS sales and investigate variances • Lead mid-month and month-end stock counts • Compile inventory reports and variance analyses • Validate purchasing requests and supplier documentation • Maintain audit-ready records and inventory controls • Support internal and external audits • Ensure compliance with company stock control procedures ?
