Live-Out Position Kendrick Recruitment is currently hiring an HR Administrator for a prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented HR professional to join a dynamic People & Culture team, supporting all aspects of HR administration, employee experience, compliance, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of HR processes, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting payroll and HR systems, coordinating training initiatives, and contributing to a positive and professional workplace culture. Requirements: ✔ Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field ✔ Previous experience in an HR Administration role, preferably within hospitality ✔ Strong understanding of South African labour legislation and HR best practices ✔ Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (Sage People 300 advantageous) ✔ Excellent administrative, organisational, and time-management skills ✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality ✔ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ✔ Professional, service-driven, and solutions-focused approach Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready employee records and HR documentation • Coordinate onboarding administration, including contracts, inductions, and employee setup • Manage HR filing systems, databases, and employee lifecycle administration • Monitor probation reviews, contract renewals, and employee milestones • Provide administrative support to the HR department and leadership team • Prepare reports, presentations, HR dashboards, and meeting documentation • Assist with payroll administration, reconciliations, and employee data accuracy • Support employee benefits administration and HR systems maintenance • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR-related queries • Coordinate employee engagement, wellness, and internal communication initiatives • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and statutory requirements • Support Employment Equity, Skills Development, and compliance reporting processes • Coordinate training programmes, workshops, and learning interventions • Maintain training records and monitor compliance requirements • Assist with HR projects, policy implementation, and process improvement initiatives • Compile monthly HR reports and support workforce analytics and reporting Candidate Profile: • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail • Professional, approachable, and service-focused • Strong administrative and coordination skills • Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information • Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively • Passionate about people, hospitality, and creating positive employee experiences • Committed to maintaining the highest professional standards within a luxury environment Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
