? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is assisting a well-established Cape Town-based premium travel and tours company in sourcing an experienced ???? ?? ?????. Our client is a reputable operator in the premium travel space, offering ground transport, guided tours and bespoke travel services to a high-end clientele. With a strong foundation in place, they are now looking to grow their sales capability and expand their presence across key channels including DMCs, five-star hotels and luxury travel agents. The Head of Sales will lead all new-business acquisition, build and manage a capable sales team, and take ownership of targets, pipeline and forecasting. This is a commercial, hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable personally closing new accounts and building the systems and team needed for sustainable growth. ??? ???????????????? Own and execute the new-business development plan, managing targets, budgets and priorities as agreed with the MD. Lead day-to-day sales activity — qualify leads, personally engage decision-makers, prepare proposals and presentations, and close priority new accounts. Build and manage the Sales department, including recruiting approved hires, onboarding, coaching and ongoing performance management. Develop new business across DMC, hotel and five-star venue channels, protecting the company’s premium positioning and channel relationships. Maintain an accurate and prioritised prospect database with clear opportunity stages, next actions and realistic pipeline forecasts. Coordinate with the Client Relationship Manager and GM on new-account handovers, keeping new-business results clearly separated from existing-account growth. Confirm operational feasibility with relevant teams before committing to clients; coordinate collateral, FAMs and client events as required. Run weekly pipeline reviews, monthly sales reviews and quarterly market reviews; report on performance, forecast changes and corrective actions. ?????? & ?????????? Proven B2B sales leadership experience with a strong track record in new-business development and team building. Experience selling through luxury travel, hotel, DMC or premium tourism channels is highly advantageous. Strong commercial judgement — ability to protect margin, manage pricing and assess revenue assumptions with credibility. Excellent CRM, pipeline management and forecasting skills, with good proficiency in Excel and business reporting. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent a premium brand with confidence and discretion. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally for client visits and business development.
