Floor Manager | Cape Town | Premium Casual Dining As an established, fast-expanding Johannesburg hospitality group prepares to open its flagship seafront dining concept in Mouille Point, we are seeking a vibrant, detailed-oriented FLOOR MANAGER to join the core leadership team. Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the dining room—ensuring seamless service execution, elevating guest experience, and driving daily floor operations during our September pre-opening prep and October grand launch. Key Responsibilities Pre-Opening Support: Assist the GM in building, training, and inspiring a polished Front-of-House floor team. Participate in SOP implementation, table mapping, and service rehearsals ahead of the launch. Floor Leadership & Service Operations: Lead daily shift briefings and maintain a strong, active presence on the floor during peak service. Direct table flow, guest seating, and service pacing to ensure a flawless dining experience. Guest Relations & Quality Control: Actively engage with guests, handle immediate feedback with tact, and foster repeat clientele. Ensure the dining room, pass, and service stations meet impeccable standards of presentation and hygiene. Team Management & Admin: Assist with shift scheduling, staff coaching, POS cash ups, and daily opening/closing procedures. Candidate Profile Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of Floor Manager or Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume, upmarket casual or premium restaurant environment. Leadership Style: Hands-on, energetic, and visible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Skills: Excellent communication, strong floor control, cash-up procedures, and sound knowledge of POS systems. Attributes: Sharp eye for detail, passionate about hospitality, and calm under pressure.
