Chief Concierge | Luxury Hotel | Cape Town Salary: R25,000 per month Accommodation: Live-Out Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Chief Concierge for a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, local experiences, and leading a concierge team that consistently delivers exceptional and personalized service. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for guest requests, recommendations, and special arrangements, ensuring that every guest experience is seamless and memorable. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in a Concierge role within a luxury hotel environment • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership concierge position preferred • Extensive knowledge of Cape Town, including restaurants, attractions, tours, and transport services • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities • Professional presentation and a guest-centric approach • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Key Responsibilities: Guest Services & Experience • Lead the concierge team in delivering exceptional guest service and personalized experiences • Assist guests with reservations, tour bookings, transportation, and local recommendations • Ensure seamless coordination of guest requests, special occasions, and VIP arrangements • Maintain strong relationships with trusted local suppliers, tour operators, and restaurants Team Leadership & Operations • Supervise and train the concierge team to maintain high service standards • Ensure efficient daily operations of the concierge desk • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements where necessary Administration & Coordination • Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests • Coordinate with Front Office, Guest Relations, and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery • Assist with VIP guest preparation and special events This is an excellent opportunity for a well-connected hospitality professional who enjoys curating unforgettable guest experiences while leading a dedicated concierge team within a prestigious luxury hotel environment.
