Key Responsibilities
The role involves driving sales growth across the full product range while building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities include developing and expanding existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the company’s products competitively in the market.
The incumbent will be required to submit accurate weekly and monthly reports, maintain continuous communication between customers and internal teams, and actively participate in trade shows, farmer days, and promotional events.
Additional duties include managing product portfolios, pricing support, promotional activities, handling customer feedback and delivery follow-ups, and contributing to product forecasting and stock optimisation.
The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, leadership through influence, and staying informed on customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF4) is essential.
A tertiary qualification in Agriculture (B Agric or BSc Agric) will be advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge of animal nutrition will be beneficial.
A valid Code 08/EB driver’s licence is required.
3–5 years’ experience in a similar sales and marketing role.
A proven track record of success within the agricultural environment, preferably within animal feed.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required.
Computer literacy is essential.
