Key Accountabilities
Manage and grow existing customer accounts while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Promote and support the full product offering through consultative selling and value-based solutions.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
Compile and submit accurate sales, activity, and performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
Participate in industry events, including farmer days, trade shows, and promotional initiatives.
Assist with product launches, pricing support, and promotional campaigns.
Handle customer queries, feedback, and delivery follow-ups effectively.
Support sales forecasting and contribute to stock planning activities.
Stay informed on market movements, competitor behaviour, and evolving customer needs.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF4) is essential.
A tertiary qualification in Agriculture (B Agric or BSc Agric) will be advantageous.
Working knowledge of animal nutrition will be a strong advantage.
Valid Code 08/EB driver’s licence required.
3–5 years’ sales and marketing experience within the agricultural sector.
Demonstrated success in a similar role, preferably within animal feed or related industries.

Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to perform under pressure and manage extended or irregular working hours.
Computer literacy is essential.
