Job Summary
Main Purpose:
To develop and promote, in partnership with the commercial team, adherence to the firm's integrity framework in terms of its Technical Stewardship Plan and corporate Management and Knowledge System, which support the firm's mission. Perform project financial management and contract administration activities for estimating and post contract works while supporting other project functional roles
Responsibilities:
- Provide the customer with the necessary project activity, time, and resource consumption reports and pricing information.
- Ensure that all subcontractor and supplier invoices are paid in compliance with contractual, business, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in calculating the most cost-effective and operationally wise manner of construction, ensuring that the construction team is well-informed about the best ways to build.
- At the end of a project, ensure that the customer has received all required warranty, guarantee, and instruction documentation on time.
- In a timely manner, negotiate and mediate contractual disputes with stakeholders.
- Work with and support the team.
- Deliver excellent, accurate, and timely work to the organization and its clients on a consistent basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A 3year University of Technology Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, and Quantity Surveying Software Packages.
- A minimum of 10 years’ technical and practical QS skills in Mining, Minerals, Infrastructure and / Chemical sector.
