Key Responsibilities
- Handle end?to?end recoveries and third?party claims.
- Apply SA Law of Collisions, Law of Apportionment, and relevant case law.
- Negotiate effectively with insurers, brokers, clients, and third parties.
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication and portfolio flow.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and internal procedures.
- Assess merits and provide sound legal/technical guidance.
Requirements
- LLB Degree (essential).
- Experience in recoveries, third?party claims, or litigation (highly advantageous).
- Claims or insurance experience beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client?centric skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and independent thinking.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of the Law of Delicts, Rules of the Road, Apportionments Act.
