Key Responsibilities
- Support Portfolio Managers by promoting commercial insurance products
- Respond to new business leads and prepare accurate comparative quotes
- Negotiate rates and apply sound underwriting principles
- Upsell and provide comprehensive insurance solutions
- Work with internal teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
- Build and maintain strong broker and internal relationships
- Process new business and load new policies when required
- Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- FETC: Short?Term Insurance NQF 4 (150 credits)
- Higher Certificate in Short?Term Insurance NQF 5+ (advantageous)
- RE5 completed
- Class of Business: Personal & Commercial Lines
- 2+ years’ experience in Commercial Insurance sales & underwriting
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- TIAL experience advantageous
- Excellent English & Afrikaans (written and verbal)
