This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily production activities, driving team performance, maintaining product quality, and ensuring maximum plant efficiency. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in achieving production targets while upholding world-class manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate production teams to achieve daily production targets.
Maximise plant efficiency, equipment utilisation, and labour productivity.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Implement and support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, food safety, and health and safety standards.
Coordinate production resources and support effective shift planning and problem-solving.
Requirements
Matric.
National Diploma in Food Technology, Production, or a related technical qualification.
Minimum 5 years' FMCG manufacturing experience (or 1–2 years with a relevant Diploma).
Previous Team Leader, Supervisory, or Management experience is essential.
Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, plant operations, OEE, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
