Job Summary
Lead the finance function end-to-end, ensuring strong governance, clear accountability, and a high-performance team culture
Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly close, management accounts, and Group reporting requirements
Continuously enhance financial controls, reporting standards, and scalable best-practice processes
Partner with the executive team to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decisions and long-term planning
Drive commercial performance, contributing to revenue growth, margin improvement, cost efficiency, and overall profitability
Own the full budgeting and forecasting cycle, working closely with FP&A and senior finance stakeholders
Evaluate growth opportunities, including new ventures, partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives
Translate financial data, KPIs, and industry trends into actionable insights and risk mitigation strategies
Oversee treasury, cash flow, and financial risk, including liquidity optimisation and foreign exchange exposure
Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and advisors
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in finance, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven executive leadership capability within complex, fast-paced environments
Strong experience engaging with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
Exposure to Group-level reporting structures and stakeholder management
Deep expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
Advanced skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
Solid experience in treasury, cash flow, and risk management
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence business performance
Qualification:
CA(SA) – non-negotiable
