We are a dynamic and growing multi-entity group of companies offering labour solutions, recruitment, manufacturing (truck bodies & trailers), courier, bulk logistics, and security services. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Group Accountant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Edenvale office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports for the Group and its entities.

• Manage and balance cashbooks across all company accounts.

• Prepare, check, and authorise journals and other accounting entries.

• Handle all SARS queries, submissions, and correspondence (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, etc.).

• Work hands-on with Sage Evolution 200 for day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Support group consolidation, inter-company transactions, and financial compliance.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial information for decision-making.

Requirements:

• Professionally qualified (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a group accounting / financial reporting role.

• Strong working knowledge of Sage Evolution (essential – experience with Version 200 preferred).

• Proven experience dealing with SARS queries and submissions.

• Thorough understanding of South African financial reporting standards, tax legislation, and VAT.

• Excellent attention to detail, strong reconciliations skills, and high level of accuracy.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple entities.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of the senior management team.
