This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded finance professional looking to step into a role that combines technical expertise with operational involvement. You will work closely with senior leadership, playing a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, improving business processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Manage full month-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
- Perform accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee cash flow management and reporting
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
- Manage debtors and creditors functions
- Monitor and control inventory processes
- Support operational cost tracking, including labour and overtime
- Compile annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct margin analysis to support profitability improvement
- Manage intergroup transactions and reporting
- Report directly to the CFO and General Manager
Experience:
- Minimum BCom Degree in Finance, with Honours
- 2–3+ years’ relevant experience within a finance role
- Exposure to intercompany environments is essential
Skills:
- Strong financial reporting and compliance knowledge
- High attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills
- Ability to operate independently without the need for micromanagement
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking ability
- Effective communicator with a professional approach
