Introduction
A leading company in the mining and construction industry based in Midrand are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper/Accountant/PA to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities

Personal Assistance to Management
-
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
-
Handle confidential correspondence and prepare reports or presentations

Bookkeeping and Financial Records
-
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage/Pastel)
-
Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable
-

Payroll and Compliance Support
-
Prepare monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance (UIF, PAYE, etc.)
-
Assist with VAT submissions and liaise with accountants/auditors
-

Office Administration
-
Order office supplies, manage filing systems, and handle general admin tasks
-
Support internal teams with documentation and day-to-day operations
-

Supplier and Client Liaison
-
Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding payments and queries
-
Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items
-
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom in Finance
- Experience in Pastel & Accpac
Package & Remuneration
R50 000 CTC
