BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – PAYMENTS / FINTECH - Sandton, Johannesburg
A leading payments organisation is seeking a results?driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across South Africa and selected African markets. You will “drive end?to?end sales cycles from lead generation through negotiation and contract closure” and “present and position payment and fintech solutions to senior decision?makers”.
Key Focus Areas:
• Acquire new clients across banks, retailers, PSPs, mobile money and fintech
• Prospect via cold calling, networking, LinkedIn and events
• Manage full sales cycles and close high?value deals
• Identify cross?sell and upsell opportunities
• Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline forecasts
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth onboarding
Requirements:
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Commerce
• 7+ years in business development or enterprise sales
• Proven revenue?target achievement
• Payments / Banking / Fintech experience essential
• African market exposure beneficial
