Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full finance function on an end‑to‑end basis
- Perform general ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations
- Take ownership of month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records
- Identify gaps in processes and implement practical financial controls
- Work closely with management to support financial decision‑making
- Operate effectively within an unstructured and fast‑changing environment
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA(SA) qualification ideal but not essential
- Strong hands‑on experience managing the full finance function
- Proven exposure to GL reconciliations and close processes
- Experience working in fast‑paced or evolving environments
- Strong personality with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Comfortable operating with limited structure and high levels of ownership
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving capability
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handover
- Immediately available or able to start at short notice
