Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage financial control across multiple Southern African entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
- Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Drive tax compliance, treasury governance, and financial risk management strategies
- Manage internal and external audits, including financial and compliance audits
- Lead financial control projects such as system implementations, upgrades, and M&A activities
- Ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
Job Experience and Skills Required:Education:- BCom Honours Degree
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
Experience:- Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience in a Financial Control environment
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and stakeholders across a complex organisation
- Strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and governance
- Experience in change management and driving performance within a finance function
- Exposure to multi-entity or multinational environments
Skills:- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards
- Experience with ERP systems (advantageous)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to operate both independently and within a team
Additional Requirements:- Willingness to travel across Southern Africa
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
