This opportunity is ideal for a newly qualified CA(SA), coming out of an audit firm, who is ready to step into a role that combines finance, people management and commercial exposure.
This is not a back-office role; it’s for someone who is eager to be involved in the business, manage people and contribute to growth and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full finance function and reporting processes
- Manage and lead a team, ensuring performance and development
- Review financials, reconciliations and reporting outputs
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders on financial matters
- Support business operations with financial insights
- Contribute to business development initiatives and growth strategies
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Assist with audits and financial reviews
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- 0–1 years’ post-articles experience
- Must come from an audit firm environment
- Strong technical accounting foundation
- Demonstrated leadership or people management ability
- Commercially aware and business-savvy mindset
- Driven, proactive and confident communicator
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
