Job Summary
This role is ideal for a CA(SA) with a solid post-articles track record who enjoys operating at a group level, with a strong focus on reporting, consolidations and IFRS compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity across multiple entities while supporting strategic decision-making at a group level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the group reporting function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
- Ensure full IFRS compliance across the group
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting cycles
- Manage and review balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs
- Liaise with auditors and manage the audit process
- Drive improvements in reporting processes and controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Partner with business units to provide financial insights and analysis
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 3+ years post-articles experience
- Strong experience in group reporting and consolidations
- Solid IFRS knowledge and application
- Experience within healthcare, services or pharmaceutical industries advantageous
- Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
