Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function within a large operational environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing financial guidance, challenging operational decisions where necessary, and ensuring sustainable financial performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role where Finance acts as a true business partner to operations rather than simply a reporting function. The successful candidate will have broad exposure to financial management, budgeting, forecasting, controls, governance, and people leadership.

This is a hands-on leadership role where Finance acts as a true business partner to operations rather than simply a reporting function. The successful candidate will have broad exposure to financial management, budgeting, forecasting, controls, governance, and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full finance function
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Produce quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS
- Oversee CAPEX and fixed asset management
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyse financial performance and investigate variances
- Monitor profitability and operational performance
- Drive financial controls, governance, and compliance
- Support audit processes and statutory requirements
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Partner with senior operational stakeholders to drive business performance
- Provide strategic financial insight and recommendations to leadership
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:- CA(SA) preferred
- BCom Honours with completed SAICA Articles will be considered
- SAICA registration advantageous
- 3-5 years' Financial Management experience
- Strong financial accounting experience
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Management reporting experience
- Previous leadership and people management experience
- Experience in a complex operational environment
- Healthcare or hospital finance experience advantageous
- SAP (essential)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
