Job Summary
Lead the financial strategy aligned to long-term growth, scalability, and value creation
Develop and execute a multi-year value creation plan, driving return on equity and capital efficiency
Take ownership of M&A activities, including deal evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and execution
Drive capital raising initiatives and manage investor engagement processes
Shape the company’s valuation narrative and equity story in preparation for future transactions
Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and strategic partners
Lead Board reporting and investor communications, ensuring transparency and alignment
Ensure robust financial governance, reporting, audit compliance, and IFRS standards
Oversee tax strategy, compliance, and financial risk management frameworks
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, strengthening FP&A and data-driven decision-making
Implement scalable financial systems to support rapid business growth
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10+ years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity
Proven track record in M&A, capital raising, and executing large-scale transactions
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and capital markets expertise
Deep understanding of deal structuring and investor expectations
Demonstrated ability to operate at Executive, Board, and investor level
Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and execution focus
Experience within financial services, lending, or property investment would be advantageous
Qualification:
CA(SA) is essential
CFA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous
