Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounts Payable / Finance Administrator to join our Finance Department on a 2-month temporary contract.
This role requires an individual who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision and has strong experience in supplier accounts, invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment administration. All requirements listed below are non-negotiable.
Core Responsibilities
- Process daily and monthly supplier invoices against approved Purchase Orders (POs)
- Process daily and monthly operational supplier invoices
- Perform monthly supplier account reconciliations
- Perform weekly supplier account reconciliations
- Prepare weekly supplier payment packs
- Prepare monthly supplier payment packs
- Upload weekly and monthly payment packs onto Standard Bank Business Online
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of supplier documentation
- Investigate and resolve supplier account discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding account queries
- Assist with finance-related administrative duties as required
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role
- Proven experience processing high volumes of supplier invoices
- Strong supplier reconciliation experience
- Experience preparing supplier payment packs
- Experience using Standard Bank Business Online
- Strong understanding of Purchase Order (PO) processes
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Available to start immediately
- Available for the full 2-month contract period
