Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their team in Constantia, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic accounting knowledge who enjoys working with numbers, keeping financial records organised, and ensuring that day-to-day accounts run smoothly.
With approximately three days of work per week and the potential to work from home once trained, this role offers flexibility while allowing you to gain valuable hands-on accounting experience. Recent accounting graduates and candidates looking to build on their existing skills are encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process invoices using Excel and Sage One.
Capture and allocate credit card slips on Sage One.
Assist with basic accounting and administrative duties.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure information is captured correctly.
Apply basic VAT knowledge where required.
Assist with credit and debtor-related tasks.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of relevant experience in an accounts or finance-related role.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage One.
Basic understanding of VAT.
Good numerical and mathematical skills.
Basic knowledge of creditors, debtors, and accounting processes.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
