Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to lead the finance function while working closely with operational teams to optimise profitability, strengthen financial controls, and support strategic business decisions. What You'll Do

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts across multiple business streams.

• Deliver accurate financial forecasting aligned with operational volumes and commercial performance.

• Drive the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against strategic objectives.

• Present financial results and key business insights to executive leadership.

• Oversee revenue recognition and ensure financial reporting accuracy.

• Review and approve overhead expenditure and vendor reconciliations.

• Manage cash flow forecasting, creditor payments, and debtor collections.

• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management processes.

• Manage foreign exchange exposure and support international financial transactions.

• Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure statutory compliance.

• Optimise ERP systems and finance processes, driving automation and continuous improvement.

• Partner with operational leaders to improve business performance and profitability.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

What You Bring

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.

• Minimum five years' experience in a Financial Management role.

• Proven leadership experience managing finance teams within a high-volume operational environment.

• Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or a related industry will be highly advantageous.

• Strong ERP systems experience, preferably Microsoft Business Central or similar.

• Excellent financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting capability.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into operational insight.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting reporting deadlines.

• Passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.

• Maintain and optimise master data within ERP systems, including Microsoft Business Central.

• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation, and automation initiatives within the finance function.
