Accountant
Fully Remote from South Africa
Salary: R40K - R50K CTC p.m. (depending on experience)
Our client in the UK is looking for an Accountant to join their team remotely from South Africa.
When you join their team, you’ll become a key part of a small, growing accountancy firm where your contribution will genuinely matter.
You’ll join a friendly team in, working closely with their Client Managers and Directors and supporting a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
This is a role for someone who has already built a good grounding in accountancy practice and is ready for the next step.
You might already be working as a Semi-Senior, or you could be an experienced Accounts Assistant who is ready to take on more responsibility.
We’re looking for someone who wants to develop technically, have more direct contact with clients and, over time, build towards managing their own portfolio. You won’t simply be preparing accounts and passing them on. As you develop, you’ll be encouraged to speak directly with clients, deal with queries, take greater ownership of jobs and understand the businesses behind the numbers.
You’ll work with clients across a range of sectors, with a strong presence in construction, property and owner-managed businesses. Many of our clients have worked with us for a long time, so relationships matter.
The team uses cloud-based technology and is always looking for better, more efficient ways of working. If you have ideas about systems, processes or how we can improve the way we look after clients, they’ll be listened to.
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you’ll work across a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
