Job Summary
Prepare and manage consolidated financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across all entities within the group
Analyse financial results, identifying variances and providing meaningful performance insights
Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
Manage intercompany balances, transactions, and reconciliations across the group structure
Ensure full compliance with SARS requirements, including VAT, PAYE, and tax submissions
Support budgeting and forecasting cycles aligned with business objectives
Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
Lead audit processes, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring timely completion
Strengthen and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial processes
Deliver ad-hoc reports and contribute to broader strategic initiatives
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
Exposure to a group or multi-entity environment advantageous
Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax and VAT regulations
Advanced Excel skills with experience on accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP)
Strong analytical ability with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure
Qualification:
BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
