Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage budgets and rolling forecasts (yes, the future depends on you now).
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support strategic decision-making, helping leadership make smarter moves.
- Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning and “what if” moments.
- Assist with reporting and dashboards that people will actually understand.
- Work with teams across Finance, Marketing, and Credit to align on business goals.
- Support monthly management accounts and financial processes.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar.
- Around 2 years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, maybe even VBA if you’re feeling fancy).
- Experience in lending/financial services = a bonus, not a dealbreaker.
Competency Requirements:
- Curious by nature
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to explain complex numbers to non-finance humans
- Deadline-driven without the drama
- Able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Exercises good judgement
