Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for senior stakeholders, including Exco and Board-level reporting
- Assist with the month-end reporting process, including flash reporting and financial performance analysis
- Coordinate reporting inputs across business units and functions
- Contribute to the preparation of financial results presentations and reporting packs
- Provide analysis and commentary on financial performance and key business drivers
- Support planning processes including forecasts and medium-term planning
- Assist with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and respond to queries from internal stakeholders
- Participate in process improvements, system changes, and reporting enhancements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- B-degree in Accounting or Financial Management (essential)
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience within financial services or banking (advantageous)
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to interpret financial data and present insights clearly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
