This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who thrives on structure, accuracy, and leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, optimising processes, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee full financial close processes (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
- Ensure accuracy of reconciliations, financial records, and trial balances
- Maintain compliance with IFRS standards and tax regulations
- Lead and support audit processes, liaising with external auditors
- Oversee cash flow management, banking, and treasury operations
- Manage and develop finance teams and overall financial functions
- Handle intercompany transactions and ensure accurate reporting
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Drive financial consolidations across entities
Experience:
- BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- Minimum 3+ years post-articles experience
- 3 – 5 years’ management experience
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance
- Proven experience in managing full finance functions
- Exposure to project, construction, or intercompany environments advantageous
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to perform in a deadline-driven, high-pressure environment
