Based in Pretoria, a growing organisation within the technology sector is seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance Manager to take ownership of the full finance function. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, managing costs, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full finance function, including bookkeeping and general ledger integrity
- Oversee invoicing, credit control, and supplier payments
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts
- Compile board packs with financial results, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and costing model development
- Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and rolling cash flow forecasts
- Oversee payroll processes, external audits, and financial system optimisation (Sage/Xero)
Job experience and skills required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Completed articles advantageous (SAICA / SAIPA)
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a financial management or senior accounting role
- Proven experience managing full finance functions
- Strong experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent financial planning and analysis skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
- Ability to communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with internal controls and compliance
