Based at a large-scale manufacturing site in Johannesburg East, this opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded within operations while driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L ownership for the manufacturing site
- Monthly reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting
- Inventory valuation, WIP management and cost control
- Standard costing and detailed variance analysis
- Manufacturing KPI analysis (cost per unit, yields, waste, efficiencies)
- BI reporting and data-driven performance insights (Power BI / SAP / ERP systems)
- CAPEX management and fixed asset control
- Inventory optimisation and working capital improvements
- Finance business partnering with Plant and Technical leadership
- Lead and develop the site finance team
- Ensure IFRS compliance, audit readiness and strong internal controls
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) or Non-CA qualification
- 5–8 years’ experience within the FMCG alcohol / beverage industry (non-negotiable)
- 3–5 years’ plant-level operational finance experience
- Strong cost accounting and standard costing expertise
- ERP systems experience (SAP / Syspro / Oracle / Dynamics essential)
- Commercially astute and analytically strong
- Confident operating in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Proven stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
