Duties & Responsibilities:
- Financial / Shareholder Returns
Evaluate and effectively structure transactions with detailed application of financing instruments (where applicable/appropriate)
- Internal / Operational Processes
Evaluate applications for finance (financial, technical or marketing disciplines) through due diligence investigations. Deal structuring - Designing and negotiating the financial, EHS, legal, and other relationships between the client and IDC for the specific deal (where applicable)
Risk identification and mitigation
Participate in due diligence teams
Deal Optimisation - Ensuring that the deal is aligned with the strategic objectives of the unit and will contribute to meeting industry development goals
Account management function up to first draw
Prepare and submit basic assessments and comprehensive credit proposals that meet the funding requirements.
Ensuring accurate client data management
- Customer Focus and Stakeholder Management
Maintain meaningful relationships with enquirers, applicants, and portfolio clients in conjunction with different support functions.
To effectively interact with different SBU's and departments to fulfill the process requirements related to any specific business transaction.
Manage and enhance levels of service and communication to ensure the provision of client service excellence.
Liaise, communicate, and promote the unit externally

Qualifications: Relevant Commercial (CA) or Technical Honours degree
Skills: 5-8 years Dealmaker experience
2-3 years in assessment as well as closing transactions, Approved deals up to first drawdown and the conclusion of legal agreements
Sector-specific knowledge: Manufacturing, Machinery, Equipment, and Electronics
Competent in 2 due diligence disciplines (marketing, financial, or Technical)
