Opportunity within Collections Department
Location: Johannesburg
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract
A reputable financial services organisation is looking for motivated and results-driven individuals to join their Collections Department in Sandton. This role is well suited to recent graduates in finance-related fields, as well as candidates with some experience in a collections or credit-related environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients regarding outstanding accounts
Negotiate and implement suitable payment arrangements
Monitor account activity and follow up on overdue balances
Maintain accurate records of interactions and agreements
Ensure adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements:
BCom in Accounting, Finance or Economics
OR 1–3 years’ relevant experience in a similar environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good numerical and analytical ability
Ability to manage challenging conversations professionally
Clear criminal and credit record
