Job Summary
Support the development and execution of risk‑based internal audit plans across the group.
Prepare audit planning documentation, including scope, objectives, risk assessments, and testing procedures.
Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and system audits in line with approved audit plans.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.
Document audit procedures, testing performed, and audit evidence in accordance with audit standards.
Perform stock‑take audits at various business units and verify inventory accuracy.
Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, non‑compliance issues, and fraud risks.
Provide practical recommendations to improve controls, efficiency, and operational performance.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure agreed corrective actions are implemented.
Assist with reporting to the Audit Committee and support special investigations and ad‑hoc audit projects.
Ensure all audit activities align with internal audit methodologies and IIA standards.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ audit experience.
Experience auditing financial information, business processes, and operational environments.
Exposure to FMCG or manufacturing environments - advantageous.
Strong knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and governance principles.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel locally as required.
Qualification:
BCom Degree OR Internal Auditing Qualification.
CIA – advantageous.
