Assistant Bookkeeper (Junior Level) | Ridgeworth, Bellville
Hire Resolve is seeking a well-grounded and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to join a professional finance team in Bellville. This role is ideal for a junior professional with solid bookkeeping experience who is ready to take on a diverse range of financial and administrative responsibilities within a growing organization.
Key Performance Areas:
Debtors & Creditors: Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date.
Invoicing & POs: Raise invoices for the sales team and generate purchase orders efficiently.
Financial Reconciliations: Perform petty cash reconciliations and update credit applications and reports.
Commission Calculations: Collate and calculate commission for the sales team with high precision.
Reporting & Admin: Undertake a variety of financial reporting tasks and support the broader team with essential administrative execution.
Growth Contribution: Participate in business goals by supporting the expansion of the clientele and supplier base while maintaining ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Requirements:
Education: A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping.
Experience: 3–5 years of solid bookkeeping experience is essential.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of core accounting principles and proficiency in financial software/CRM systems.
Attributes: High level of accuracy, excellent time management, and a focus on effective task execution.
Location: Based in or near Ridgeworth, Bellville.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary: R150 000 - R180 000
Cell Allowance: R250 per month.
Benefits: Provident Fund and Group Life cover (applicable after successful completion of a 3-month probation period).
