Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a qualified Accountant in the Overberg area, Western Cape. Our client, a well-established professional accounting firm in the Overberg region, is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Accountants to join their team. The firm specializes in Accounting, Tax, and Payroll services and provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities within the profession.Responsibilities:
Manage full bookkeeping and accounting functions
Prepare and submit tax returns
Perform statutory work and compliance-related tasks
Prepare annual financial statements and working papers
Handle income tax calculations and submissions
Resolve accounting and tax-related queries
Carry out general administrative duties
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive, reliable, and able to take initiative
Computer literate with good communication and interpersonal skills
