Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Core Accounting & Reporting
- Bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Preparing insightful management reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
Tax & Compliance
- VAT calculations and submissions
- Process payroll and submissions
- EMP501 and payroll reconciliation support
- Income tax calculations and eFiling submissions
Client Engagement
- Interact directly with PKF clients and directors
- Contribute to problem-solving and financial conversations
Broader Exposure
- Assist with various ad-hoc financial tasks
- Gain confidence across the full finance function
Qualifications & experience:
- A completed BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent
- Honours degree (beneficial)
- 0–1 year experience
Required skills & competencies:
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work well in a team
- Computer literacy
- A valid driver’s license + own transport (beneficial
