What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a pivotal role in designing gearbox and gear system solutions that support critical operations across heavy industry. From concept development and engineering calculations to detailed design and manufacturing support, your work will have a direct impact on the performance, reliability, and longevity of industrial equipment.This role offers the opportunity to work on highly engineered products where precision, innovation, and technical excellence matter.
What We're Looking For
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years' experience within a heavy industrial environment
- Proven experience in the design of gearboxes and/or gear systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, gearing, and power transmission
- Experience with engineering design software and CAD packages
- Ability to perform detailed engineering calculations and technical analyses
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an inquisitive engineering mindset
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
